The only one who is keeping Cyril in his seat is the DA.
So the DA actually has a relationship with Cyril and not the ANC as an organization?

Explains a lot. 🤣

PS - The ANC can put forth another president, a president the DA will have zero control over while they can't put another president into power for some time being. This is the end of the DA and their "spies" in the ANC.

DA had nothing to do with the Ramamessiah. It was big business that gave him enough money to buy out enough people at the ANC's auction elective conference.

South Africa is democracy which some are clearly unhappy about including yourself given the outcomes of elections.

You and all you mentioned really have 2 options, either stay (shut it or run to be a politician) or fokof.

The people have spoken through the ballots. 🙂
So using your logic here could you explain why black people did not just leave SA if they didn't like Apartheid? Does this mean they approved of it? Start making sense my man.

History has shown, smaller parties always seem to just go with the ANC. They aren't in it for the helping the people. They are there to get at the trough.
I see and DA being big party is not going with ANC ? Aren't they part of GNU ?

But the ANC didn't go with the DA? So what is your point exactly? You can spin it whichever way you want.

Guilty officials should be moered straight into a cell regardless of which political party they prescribe to. The anti-DA circle jerk is getting a bit monotonous though.
That's a totally normal reaction from someone who likes the DA, there is an even more impressive but equally monotonous anti ANC and anti ActionSA circle jerk going on if you glance to the sides.

Yep very true - guess there's no pleasing everyone in this life.

DA went too far with their GNU Budget demands
ASA played for fools to help ANC push through a pro-ANC budget
ANC doing the usual dictatorship my-way or the highway
EFF + MKP doing the usual 'give back the land' communist BS

All I want is for the bloody cost of living to go down, the corruption to stop and business to not look at SA as a sh*thole of a country to operate in

First rule of negotiating, always ask for more than you want. Everyone saying they were asking for too much, when the truth is the ANC did not want to compromise on anything. Then the Patsy's being BOSA and ASA came along and made it easy for them. They got to give up nothing and get their VAT increase.

While the topic of cutting government spending waste is on the table why do we not look at having parliament sit in only one city? How much is wasted having them move between Cape Town and Pretoria? The Cape offices, mansions and burnt buildings should be sold off and the whole shooting match moved to the Union Buildings and the environs. Perhaps move the Bloem crowd too.
While we are at it we should make them keep office hours and only have public holidays off like the rest of us. Also need to do away with all the pomp (honorable (not likely) member and all that claptrap! (It is colonial anyway)) and BS and run as a business.

The idea of a single seat of government was floated before... and then at the time a figure of R9bn was touted to build the new Parliament and associated offices.
