Are the situations not similar?

1. Impossibility of using the ballot for change. (Different reasons, same outcome)
2. Persecution of a racial group.
3. Economic limitation of a racial group.
4. Claims to a racial group's property while bypassing the courts.
5. Add similarity here.

There are more similarities than differences
When you fail at (1), it's hard to take the rest of you seriously.

I kind of disagree with Gareth on this one....

There is speculation about why he has been axed, beyond that nothing in the public domain is concrete.

If he did axe the Deputy Minister for going to the US after being warned not to, then the DA needs to very publicly demand accountability from Cyril for the Ministers who have lied and all that... and make sure that whats good for the goose is good for the gander as well.

Also questions would need to be asked about the Deputy Minister and the trip to the US and whether it was taken whilst on leave from his official duties and who paid etc.

But what about the HE Minister? She should be first on the firing block. Only firing DA ministers is ridiculous on the circumstances. Also the problem for Cyril is that he agreed to a certain number of Ministerial and DM posts for the DA, so unless the DA is "allowed" to replace him with another one of their own, there is definite trouble ahead.

That would be the good for the goose is good for the gander part.

If Cyril is willing to axe a minister for going on a trip to the US with his party, but not the HE Minister for lying to the committee and the public, then noise needs to be made.

Even if the DA accepts the reason, and even if he does act on his own ministers, that position belongs to the DA. If it's filled by another cadre then they need to walk, because agreements clearly mean nothing...

Where's the fail? Neither the ANC then, nor the FF+ now, could use the ballot to change the system. The reasons are completely different but the outcome is the same. So both used a foreign country to push their agenda.

Thankfully, it seems that the FF+ will not be going the ANC route of killing random civilians and people who don't agree with them.

75k jobs down the drain, 140 companies that closed down. Govt not giving any care either.

Seems like the trend is accelerating to bigger than a snowball...
I mean... we have been in decline for last 20 years. Unemployment rates climb etc... and yet people vote ANC. ANC won't let BEE go because they get billions out of it.

But look at Champ here. He approves all of it... who needs jobs. Just Increase VAT.

When something circles a drain, it accelerates before going down the drain. The SA economy has been slowly circling the drain for decades. The inevitable acceleration of the death spiral is apparent.

In Europe, this hunger scenario is avoided at all costs because the guillotines are trundled out for the elites. In Africa, the populace accepts its lot and supports its tormenters while suffering. The difference is cultural.
