No he just does what his ANC cadre's want.

Not reallyThe DA will lose the court case as it would be judicial overreach to make him reconsider. He's given a reason even though he's apparently allowed to hire and fire on a whim. The reason is a BS facade, everyone sees through that. His procrastination and indecision aren't a sign of well considered decision making either.
Police could deliver corporal punishment in the old days
I have a question. What would corporal punishment be in the context of prisons? And would it be ruled constitutional?
Become a politician then and show how it is doneI totally agree with. The DA faithful don't get that I am frustrated with the DA's incompetence rather than supporting the ANC's running rings around the DA. There should have been mechanisms agreed to deal with working as a coalition. These are either not in place or in place but unenforceable because the ANC went legal on the DA's ass.
He banna? You pepereza all day here giving your opinions, last time I checked you were not a politician?Become a politician then and show how it is done

@ShaunSA - for your reading pleasure. Please summarize for us.A Day in the ANC Office: Don Martin Style
The ANC office is a teetering, ramshackle building in Johannesburg, its walls plastered with peeling posters of Nelson Mandela giving a thumbs-up.
A sign reading “ANC HQ” swings precariously on one rusty hinge—CREEEEAK!—threatening to topple onto unsuspecting interns.
Inside, the air hums with the BZZZ-ZZZ-ZZZ of overworked air conditioners and the FLIP-FLAP-FLOP of papers flying off desks in a whirlwind of bureaucratic chaos.
Cyril Ramaphosa, depicted as a lanky figure with an oversized suit and a perpetually calm smile, sits at a comically large desk piled high with documents labeled “COALITION DRAMA” and “VAT INCREASE WOES.”
His hair is a wiry explosion, bouncing with each nod of his head—BOING-BOING! He’s trying to mediate a coalition meeting, but his serene demeanor is tested by the pandemonium around him. As he sips tea from a chipped mug, he mutters, “Let’s keep this civil, comrades,” only for his words to be drowned out by a SPLORCH! as his mug inexplicably overflows, drenching his tie.
Enter Julius Malema, bursting through the door with a KRAK-A-BOOM!
His red beret is tilted at a jaunty angle, oversized and wobbling like a UFO on his head. His military-style EFF uniform is bedecked with medals that clank—KLANG-KLONG-KLUNK!—with every exaggerated step.
Martin draws him with wild, bulging eyes and a megaphone mouth, shouting, “RAMAPHOSA, YOUR GOVERNMENT IS A CIRCUS! EXPROPRIATE THE LAND! BRAAAAAP!” He leaps onto a table, sending papers flying—FLUTTER-FLUTTER-SPLAT!—and accidentally knocks over a bust of Oliver Tambo, which shatters with a KERSMASH!
Malema points dramatically, his arm stretching cartoonishly across the room, as he declares, “I’LL FORM MY OWN COALITION WITH THE PEOPLE!” Interns scatter in panic, their shoes squeaking—SQUEEEEEK!
Meanwhile, John Steenhuisen struts in, depicted as a wiry, bespectacled figure in a crisp DA-blue suit, his hair a spiky blonde pompadour that defies gravity—SPROING!
He carries a briefcase labeled “MARKET-FRIENDLY SOLUTIONS,” which emits a KA-CHING! every time he opens it.
Steenhuisen’s nose is comically upturned, and he squints suspiciously at Malema. “Julius, your rhetoric is reckless! We need stability!” he barks, only to trip over a stray cable—TRIP-THUD-SKLUNK!—and land face-first in a pile of ANC budget proposals.
As he scrambles up, his glasses spin like pinwheels—WHIRR-WHIRR!—and he points at Ramaphosa, shouting, “Cyril, fire those corrupt ministers, or the DA walks! HMPH!”
The office descends into chaos. Ramaphosa tries to restore order, waving his arms—FWOOSH-FWOOSH!—but his chair collapses under him with a CRUNK!
Malema, now standing on a filing cabinet, brandishes a megaphone that emits a deafening BWAAAAH! as he chants, “VOTE EFF! DOWN WITH THE GNU!”
Steenhuisen, dusting himself off, retaliates by hurling a pie chart—WHOOSH-SPLAT!—which hits Malema square in the face, leaving him dripping with ink and shouting, “THIS IS CAPITALIST OPPRESSION!” The pie chart oozes to the floor with a GLOOP!
Interns, drawn as bug-eyed, floppy-limbed figures, run in circles—ZIP-ZAP-ZOOP!—trying to clean up the mess.
One accidentally activates a paper shredder, which goes rogue with a GRRRR-CHOMP-CHOMP! and starts devouring coalition agreements.
Ramaphosa, now buried under a pile of papers, pops his head out—POP!—and sighs, “This is why I prefer Zoom meetings.” His smile remains unshaken, even as a stray paper clips him in the forehead—PING!
In the background, a radio blares news of their latest political spat—BZZT-BZZT!—while a janitor, looking suspiciously like Jacob Zuma, sweeps the floor with a mischievous grin, muttering, “MK Party’s watching, heh heh.”
The scene ends with the office door slamming shut—SLAMMO!—as Malema storms out, Steenhuisen chases after him waving a budget proposal, and Ramaphosa sips his tea, unfazed, as the ceiling fan above him wobbles ominously—WOBBLE-WOBBLE-CRASH!
Thanks for the glowing recommendation. This helps me in filing evidence when I complete peer review for my comrade. We thought he was slacking but obviously not.Not all day , only some time on some days.
Unlike you who is on all day here , but I suppose that is sustainable for you as you get paid for it
Sounds and tastes like autocracy. So if Ramaphosa refuses to act against Ministers accused of corruption or makes irrational decisions, the DA must do nothing because "muh Cabinet"?
They must either celebrate or stay silent? LOL
If you think using time is a good indicator and not quality, then I have news for youThanks for the glowing recommendation. This helps me in filing evidence when I complete peer review for my comrade. We thought he was slacking but obviously not.
And I can share a secret that a DA comrade's recommendation will catapult his reputation to an even dizzier heights than now.
Thanks for reminder and looking after us even if you are adversary. What a noble gesture to save our time.If you think using time is a good indicator and not quality, then I have news for you

Then you have things like the possibility of getting wrongfully accused for rape after offering a female a lift in your car.
This is very bad, and it just put us back as far as community involvement in fighting crime is concerned, they did everything right by calling the parents and trying to take the boy to the police station. Then you have things like the possibility of getting wrongfully accused for rape after offering a female a lift in your car.
People will start to distrust each other.
