I thought Oberholzer had a terrible tenure at Eskom and I have mentioned it here a number of times, I still don't get how does that implies any company he works for shouldn't get a tender from Eskom?

If Zuma had put Koko at Eskom in 2018 and Eskom went through the most during his tenure causing record breaking blackouts for citizens and then Koko left in 2023 to go to get a very lucrative tender at a company he is chair of, this chat would be different.

A conflict of interest should imply there is something irregular with the tender, is that what you are alleging? Because in that case there won't be a shortage of losing bidders challenging the tender in court, which would be a much better way of getting to the facts.

Like I said, this is a developing story. Let's wait it out.

And companies linked with Jan Oberholzer were already getting tenders worth billions at Eskom during his tenure so people here making it seem like the man is not corrupt and shady like Koko and Molefe because he is a white man is laughable. 🤣

The Stefanuti thing? it was investigated, by Eskom and SIU IIRC.

It's baseless conspiracy theories that gets my goat. But yes, I know DA supporters here would be losing their collective s*** if the tender was awarded to someone they perceive as an ANC cadre, and by that I mean anyone who is black and previously work for the government or one of SOEs.

You do understand ,

1) they didn't build more power stations when told when ANC took over, and got told power grid won't keep up. But they ignored it.
2) They didn't maintain the infrastructure when they took over... so it's like you car not being serviced. It will keep running but later you going to have big trouble. So for 20 years they maintained squat...

If you just start from 2023 then you're just telling lies.
