Yes I know it is satire, I deliberately left that in there once I went to the real site. You do know that satire is normally based on a real event that they are then normally ripping off.
I am trying to find out what event they based it on, if there was one.

The top SS was from an article I saw that had no satire label. The bottom is the one they stole it from that was marked as satire.

There are quite a few scenarios actually, some of which were tabled years and years ago, but required meaningful investment, and meaningful support from government. A certain Mr Gwede Mantashe however, is not interested in science or what renowned engineers and energy systems modelers had to say about the future of Electricity generation in SA. Eskom is a dinosaur, a dying dinosaur at that.

Im not american. never have been... So he's not my chief
But something to think on. He is delivering on his campaign promises . MAGA . You may not agree on his methods but he is doing it ( with a long term view )

This is my number one issue with DA. Instead of reducing prices when they take over from the ANC and save a **** load of money when they plug all the corruption holes, therefore, saving money and making things cheaper (in theory).

But no, they don't reduce prices after plugging all the ANC looting holes, they rather make themselves the most expensive muni in the country, and on top of that, make it a living nightmare when one decides to make the renewable transition to save money, make energy more reliable (because the State has proven uncapable, since 2007 with no improved problem solved long term plan.

The only plan they have is to keep talking about making plans and more BEE.

They are enforcing national law as are other muni's now
