So... Apparently, there was a court ruling recently to disband Ngwathe's council... Ngwathe Municipality is going to appeal.
Ngwathe is in Parys, Free State and surrounds.

Like most places in SA, it used to have an overwhelming ANC majority but due to the service delivery that the residents of Ngwathe can apparently 'touch and feel' (or rather lack of it), the majority has been chipped away at every 5 years.

Who says the threats were meaningless. We will see in the coming weeks how much the National Dialogue means when the DA is undermining it. We will also see if life will get difficult for the ANC when it is trying to pass department budgets. If these are all non-issues then I will agree with you.
