That's not how sarcasm works though, you would say that sarcastically if someone who has been undergoing lifestyle audits were to have those vehicles and lifestyle not picked up by the lifestyle audits.
You posted 2 pages back a twitter post about life style audits ... and yet what did that do in this scenario.... so life style audits are working.

You took the fun out of now with me having to explain it...

Speaking of dodgy aunties... what was Mkhwanazi saying about Mary de Haas?

Saw something this morning but can't remember where now
So glad that he addressed the issue of that crazy woman, he said parliament should summon her to come and account, she's one of those dodgy experts who feeds the public with lies

I always knew that aunty was dodgy. She's always in The Witness pretending to be some kind of expert

And I have no idea what is tripping you up, lifestyle audits are applied to government officials, The nephew is not a government official so not subjected to those, so how would lifestyle audits have helped in this scenario?

That is why I am telling you your sarcasm would be applicable if it was a government official who has been undergoing lifestyle audits.

If the tax man get a R70m purchase... time for a little life style audit you think ? And easy to trace your family lineage at home affairs and see the connections. All this can be automated and gives results in seconds. If tiny bit of [development] effort.. they can pull all this information and generate a nice thick report who is connected etc.

And SARS do life style audits on plebs for less....

edit: But because they connected cadres... they don't investigate. Hence all the looting and they get away with it. How do you think these guy(s) had so many cars , houses etc..

No man, he came all swinging his arms for boxing match and you are playing chess with him. Not cool at all.

Clearly the lifestyle audits to government officials aren't working. If they were we'd know who was behind giving the chief thief's nephew by marriage all those delicious tenders

I'm just here waiting for the day when Ramaphosa taps into his $450m bank account and buys a couple of school shoes for "Our People". Any day now surely.

The guy was getting tenders, his money did not appear out of nowhere, he probably paid what is due to SARS, the only reason SARS would do a lifestyle audit on you is when they cannot see where you money is coming from, especially when they are not getting their cut.

Yes, those are just useless but work very well to placate the masses, you should have seen how excited your fellow DA supporters were when Winde announced excitedly that all his MECs passed lifestyle audits, then a couple of months later one of the MECs was arrested for corruption.

You don't think to investigate any transactions about certain amount of money ? If ALL the money just comes from government contracts (and connected to government officials).. that should raise some flags and be reported to SIU. This amount of money not some small tender or two...

You will be excluded from school shoes bursary due to 147 racist laws but thanks for the thought.
