Not gonna happen for at least next 20 years. I had heard of Gautrain extending to Honeydew in 2009 but nothing happened in 16 years. This is too big a project.

Bru - I definitely see Zille as a possibility next year.

Possibility is the right word, I mean it's possible for Al Jamama to hold the mayorship, even now the gap between the DA and the ANC at Joburg isn't big, if the DA were not this incompetent they would still be in power.

The DA had 104 seats in 2016, even then they still need the EFF to govern, fast forward to now, they have 71 seats, so instead of growing the DA has been declining along with the ANC.

I totally don't believe Zille is someone who is capable of turning that around, if she cannot find it in herself now to humble herself and try to find a working relationship with the other opposition parties, there is no miracle that is going to happen next year where she can somehow convince the same parties to make her mayor.
