I thought DA is a party inhabited solely by evil racist whites, what happened that the Provincial Secretary, who is Coloured, and three other Coloured okes are joining racist DA?

Oh, wait, they're deputy whites or something, right? What does BJP say about this?

I love it. Okes are rooting for DA's destruction because of PA, but aren't seeing the total collapse of ANC WC because of PA and DA.

Also, true to form:

ANC spokesperson Mahlengi Bhengu said they were not surprised nor shaken by Delport’s departure from the organisation.

Bhengu said:

His exit affirms the correctness and necessity of the ongoing reconfiguration process, which seeks to restore the ANC’s integrity, discipline, and ideological clarity. We have always been aware of his regressive and narrow ideological posture, which sought to divide our people on the basis of apartheid classification.

She said his departure was a confirmation that those who hold such tendencies would not survive in an ANC that is renewed.

“The renewal of our movement is a deliberate act to cleanse it of opportunism, self-interest, and political convenience. Delport’s decision to join a right-wing formation that is openly anti-transformation, anti-justice, and indifferent to the suffering of Palestinians exposes the moral and political bankruptcy of those who abandon the cause of equality.

“His self-ejection validates that the ANC is on the right path; a path that prizes principle over position, and loyalty to the people over loyalty to privilege,” she said.

Let's put this appointment aside, how do you reckon people from the private sector are able to get employed in government with all those public service regulations?
