Show me in their manifesto or mission statement where they say they will only look after the citizens of the Independent Republic by birth, then maybe your argument could have some substance.

The DA should only look after property owners. National Government doesn't believe in property, only EWC.
 
Big story in the Sunday Times - looks like Steenhuisen will be out on April with the current prince of the DA - CT mayor Geordim Hill-Lewis - becoming king. Steenhuisen has lost support of many prominent DA donors and one thing I know is that the DA is quite responsive to the views or their donors.

How is GHL any different?

Yeah, he did not do himself a favour, the fact that the DA did not publicize his misuse of the credit card until Dion George did means they were going to use that in blackmailing him to leave even if he wanted to fight.

But truth be told Hill Lewis does not have what it takes to grow the DA out of its traditional voter base, if they want a white leader they could still go with Pappas, he has the right qualities to appeal to more people while not alienating the traditional constituencies.

The unemployed because of BEE and 147 race laws but paying all the tax and everything that needs to be paid gang of course, who else?

Those people are not unemployed. BEE and the race laws have made them richer. Have a look:

We in CT give him very high marks as an effective mayor. He stared down the taxi mafia (which the ANC never does), evicted the homeless from loitering in key sites around CT and delivers services effectively. There are some issues I have, particularly around the rates increase which is currently subject to court proceedings but overall I'm delighted by his leadership.

How will he be different to Steenhuisen? Hopefully stand up more to the ANC in the GNU and not have money management problems.

He also wants to build a R180 million wall that will fix absolutely nothing.

GHL would be a terrible leader. He's a rather inexperienced and unskilled politician. John isn't great and never was but he is better than the cape town manager.
