The final two by-elections of the year and there will be no Christmas cheer for the ANC as the IFP will likely retain their ward in uMfolozi while the MK will snatch the independent-held ward in Mpumalanga, where the ANC was a strong 2nd place in the municipal elections in 2021. As a reminder, the first number which appears is the 2024 provincial share while the one in brackets is the 2021 municipal result.

Reading that post it seems to me as if it may be related to the original story about the officials and being denied visas or some such.

If that is the case, then the SA government has done the right thing if the officials weren't legally allowed to do the work or some such.
Who to believe, the Right Wingers or the Corrupt Racist ANC :unsure: let me think.
