One of the 10 point plan CR revealed was professionalizing the public service and hiring on merit not party loyalty or cronyism. Ramaphosa first made that promise at his very state of the nation more than 5 years ago. Yet here he is making the same promise. In the meanwhile, the public service is as unprofessional as ever, and ANC provinces like Limpopo continue to hire technical people based on party loyalty even when they are obviously technically unqualified.

Might cover the costs of dismantling and transport.

Nkandla is gat kant van die werld and the stuff there is probably in piss poor condition at this point as well.

They can still take the lease and all the buildings from Zuma
 
I don't see how there will be a ruling against him because, after him, there are hordes of other Cadres who are facing time in court.

They don't need a precedent set. People will get suspicious when they all start doing Mthethwas.

Nope they can't. Its not a lease unfortunately.

A PTO is a Permission to Occupy that basically has no legal standing outside of traditional "law" in the Ingonyama Trust Land.

They can take the buildings yes, but it would require dismantling them entirely to take ownership of the asset.
