Lol. So many ANC supporters triggered by the fantastic increase in support for the DA in their hardest areas (excluding rural EC & KZN where they vote ANC for breakfast, lunch & dinner). I think the ANC are very worried that if the DA are getting double figures in their weakest wards, they are scared about what it means for what the DA is achieving in marginal wards and their strongholds (hint: the latter is much higher than the risible 53% achieved by the ANC in a stronghold ward).

The trends are clear. The DA is the biggest party in Gauteng. Incredible achievement 12 months out of an election. With Commissions of Inquiry ongoing for the next 6-12 months, it's just going to be the ANC's corruption in the spotlight.

The DA has a well funded and well oiled campaign machine. The ANC's once formidable campaign machine seems to have completely broken down, along with their entire party organizational structure.

The ANC president openly campaigns for the DA. DA secures nationally significant candidates for local government. ANC picks hugely compromised candidates that have no popularity.

It is common knowledge that municipalities have completely collapsed in Gauteng and is attributed 100% to the ANC and is reported on daily.

There doesn't appear to be any hope for the ANC in the upcoming election. A lot can change in 12 months, but from all I can see, it will just keep getting worse and worse for them. The ANC may not even be the second biggest party in Gauteng.

My only problem is that you are going to have a meltdown after the elections and start accusing the mods of targeting you like you did after the 2024 elections.

Chlorine gas is used in water treatment plants due to the scale of the operation, making gas easier to use than granules, which are used in pools. The councillor has probably never used a pool or visited a water treatment plant.

It's repeated all over Africa, South Africa included. Most municipal pools look like that now. You don't see the similarities?
