I'm convinced Gumede must be some American sleeper agent. First he wrote only 100 people benefited from BEE then he publishes this distorting the trend of SA life expectancy. SA life expectancy dropped to 53 during the mid 2000 when the aids pandemic was at its highest. After arvs its improved significantly. There was no aids pandemic back in 1990.
