SA Post Office IT systems downtime

Because he does not enough experience and knowledge as to what entails data center infrastructure or disaster recovery testing to be making any sweeping statements or assertions.

If he did he would be making a fortune working for AWS or Azure running their infrastructure teams.
And what's to say that I'm not?

Also, do you see AWS and Azure taking 8 hours to test their backup and UPS systems with full "downtime"?

Even if your assumptions about ToxicBunny's competence were correct (doubtful at best), the discussion is about SAPO's competence and since SAPO has repeatedly demonstrated utter and complete incompetence when it comes to anything ICT related and takes months to deliver post (if it is even delivered at all), it is reasonable to conclude that SAPO does not strive to do better or even to do (anything useful).

So, since I concur with ToxicBunny, would you thus label me similarly? :)

Useless bunch of Muppets.

AND AWS etc, shift there workload elswehere, while testing one site. MANY other centers CANNOT do this.

Okay list the two primary types of testing?

Over to you.
That type and the other type...

Happy now?

Yeah you clearly are knowledgeable.

No, there are two types of testing, neither were listed in my previous post.

Just put him on ignore. He was going on about contractor rates in another thread and got called out on bullshit there as well.

Yeah, it was bollocks, it was my experience with contracting houses which is why I dislike them...and I'm happy to be proven wrong though.
