I come to the conclusion telkom is squandering the goodwill of the SA public. Goodwill is a Balance Sheet item. So - for R200 a month (the line fee) telkom is destroying any decent name it had (if ever?? - and that's how bad it is.) They have a real opportunity to be the good guys - instead they control the market, abuse the technology in the name of profit, and thoroughly upset everybody when it comes to paying the dsl bill. And it is all unnecessary. Their 6 billion/the goodwill of the sa people = zero. Goodwill is a hard to replace item - Priceless.

So telkom - know what your hands on the pipes are really costing your company. Whoever does your sums should be fired - whoever makes these decisions (line charge, bandwidth caps, the whole line speed issue - fundamentally price) - is driving your company into the ground - no matter any short term profits.

You are squandering your most profitable and priceless item. Worth well more than a dslam or a techies laptop. Hello, hello???!

My goodwill fled the country with the appearance of my first Telkom ADSL bill. The only way it will return is when Telkom iSNO more.

One can't help but think that they're only interested in the short term, as if they're just interested in making ridiculous returns right now and then washing their hands of the whole company when there's real competition in the market.

What do they care after they've netted a few million dollars while fcking over the SA public? They can live the good life and won't have to worry about a thing.
