Hi guys.
Anyone know where I'll be able to find a suitable hosting centre, to host a Slingbox in SA?
I'm not fussy about the DStv channels, as I can get that on Sky.
I'm keen on mostly FTA
SABC 1, 2 3 e.tv etc, so either DStv easyview, or just the coax cable attached to the back of the slingbox.
Not fussy on HD, as long as it's watchable.
I'm still considering it, I haven't got the hardware yet so I'm just checking my options.
Also, I am located in New Zealand, so that may be an issue.
On a side note, if I had to go the coax route, and obtain an old Delta 9000 decoder, and run the scrambled m-net signal sent via the Slingbox, should it be able to detect and descrable the picture, if the subscription is paid, I guess in theory it's possible, but with the changes from Analog, to digital, then sent to another country, then back to analoge again, the picture, and encryption structure is bound to be stuffed up somewhere.
Thanks.
