SA spammers - name and shame them

This list does nothing to deter them.
I have been following this for some time. They basically just change their guise and carry on.

Kettler Presentations has spammed me for the last year and a bit. They are very clever, they get around spam filters. They get their e-mail addresses using dodgy means. In my case they got my e-mail address from one of the Sectional Title Associations because when I signed up to ask for help on their forum, the Kettler spam started, and to only the e-mail address I used on that forum.

Would the spam I've been getting from the DA be enough to get them on that list? (Would be a cold day in kakemas before I ever vote for them now)

Good job ISPA :)

Hosting Providers & ISPs need to do more to chuck out clients who are proven spammers

I'd like to see this happen, but they're still paying customers :(

As I have learnt through my many interactions with ISPs... if its a paying customer, the AUP, rarely, gets enforced. ISPs like MWEB are more worried about "abusers" than they are about people who use their network to spam.

The ISPs should shoulder an equal amount of blame, and that is just part of the problem. Really clever spammers use a machine in a remote country to do their dirtywork, from run-down European countries.

ISP's are member of ISPA and should work together to import these email addresses into their spam gateways. You then have a great deterrent. You could shut a lot of them down or reduce their success significantly.
Make the list downloadable with domains and email addresses and I will import it into my filter as well.

I agree especially with the last paragraph. A consumer needs to send an explicit consent or join before spams can be sent. This means the OPT OUT B$ should not even be an argument, unless where one had opted in and now no longer wants to play anymore.

Ketler Investments (trading as Ketler Presentations) brought an action against ISPA for its listing on the Hall of Shame on the basis that it was defamatory.

These swines are spammsters through and thru. Constantly showing up in my Junk Mail. Do they think that there presence in my Box will somehow subliminally turn me over to using their [-]shyte[/-] services? Ain't even going to use them even if there were a snowfall in Hell one day.

In an important and detailed judgement, Justice Spilg accepted that Ketler’s listing on the Hall of Shame was likely to affect its business reputation negatively.

If only!
