The End of the Road for SA Sucks
November 11th, 2009

Dear readers, bloggers and fellow Whites

This will be the last of many thousands of posts & articles we at WSAS sweated so much blood & tears to bring you over the years. I am shutting down this ground-breaking blog on Friday 13 November.

As you’re aware, the situation has become utterly untenable. I am no longer willing to put the welfare and safety of my family, and the families of other SA-resident bloggers at risk. It is heart-breaking, and a tough decision I struggled with (but was in denial about) since my arrest and detention last week. Your incredible support really moved me. So did the support of so many other bloggers, friends and comrades, locally as well as overseas.

I know some will call me a coward, a quitter, a yellow-bellied traitor even. So be it. I can no longer look my precious daughters, or my long-suffering wife in the eye, see their fear and sheer terror every time there is a knock on the door and continue to ignore it. I am torn between on the one hand my duty as a father & husband to ensure the safety and security of my gorgeous family, and on the other my duty & loyalty to my magnificent, beautiful White race.

It really hurts like hell that the worst betrayals came from within our own ranks. Not that I am a stranger to it either - over the past four years of this blog’’s existence, we’ve had to fend off far more vicious attacks from those on the right claiming to be our racial brethren, than any number of sellouts, liberals or misguided & brainwashed race traitors spouting their pre-programmed propaganda memes on this forum.

it bothers me that if they have a noble cause, that they can't even put their egos aside to fight for something so important. what is worse, even tho many of them are well spoken and smart, they're the most disgusting human beings when they start writing comments and articles to share their views.

i'd be fine with it if they knew they were doing wrong, but they think they have some righteous cause, while still using disgusting insults and suggesting atrocious ideas. i'm proud race means nothing overall, because i'd want to have nothing in common with them.

Lol so true. Unfortunately some people are so stuck in pride for their own "nation" and culture that they don't have a sense of humour and all uptight all the time.

They too will ultimately learn to adapt and change and drop some of their culture, but it will just take a bit longer.

If you look around SA right now most population groups are adapting and changing.....

I see black kids trying to change their image: ie speaking in perfect english and hanging out in the malls

I see coloured kids trying to clean up their act: ie less coloureds are eating gatsbys all the time and less are driving around in Vtecs all day with pumping sound systems.

I see English white kids well doing the same as they have always done.

Young people are starting to realise that race is not about the colour of your skin but the colour of your mind and anyone can do what and be what they want to. The old stereotypes of the past are fading away at an exponential rate.

Then I see young Afrikaans kids(this applies to the majority, but not all Afrikaaners). They still speak in Afrikaans in their own social circles but seem to have developed a new lingo where they add english words in here and there and accent them in different ways into what has become like the new cool way to talk. They still listen to boeremusiek and go to Oupa's farm when nobody is looking. They still fight to hang desperately onto their culture and are full of pride and hang out in clicks. Many seem to have become "emo's" of late.

This is not because they want to be like this, its because their parents are shovelling all this "boere pride" onto them all the time because they in turn were brainwashed by their parents and the Nats.

There are good Afrikaans people in fact all of them are wonderful people at heart, I have seen this. Its also part of their culture to help others and share. Many of them turned their back on Apartheid or secretly despised it, but unfortunately they were corrupted by their own people and this has created a large negative aspect to their culture which needs to be weeded out where they can focus on their good aspects. All this "pride" and self centered behaviour has never been a good thing.

This guy who wrote this blog realised the crux of the situation. Don't worry about your "race" or "culture" worry about your own life. Because at the end of the day your own "people" will still f.uck you over just like the a person from another race who you hate. Its human nature, nothing to do with skin colour.

If everyone learns to integrate more then we can achieve a society like the USA. Not a perfect model, but there at least people have a sense of national pride and unity. Where everyone is a team player. Not where everyone has a secret hatred for their other team members.

If you are Afrikaans and find this offensive, just ask yourself why you are getting angry. Is it that pride nerve. If it is that an involuntary reaction to get angry at this then maybe it is a symptom of the problem I am talking about.

Good point but remeber Germany is a homogenous culture so is France and China and Japan etc etc They have pretty much one big shared culture, so ja then it can work there.

But SA is heterogenous, a mix and melting pot of too many cultures. In that kind of situation no one culture is better than another. For one cultural group to try and be superior is wrong because what about the other groups.

The USA is also heterogenous very much so, you have Irish, British, German, French, Asian, African all mixed together. I know the USA isn't perfect by a long shot but they have found a glimmer of hope. Forget about culture and roots and develop a new culture an American culture. Yes many still do remember their roots but its less important than being American, that is number one. Result: the white population voted in a black president. The solution for SA: everyone forget their own cultural pride and develop the new South African culture. Where people of different backgrounds stand side by side and truly have a sense of comradery towards eachother, not because its what they feel they have to do. Where oneday a South African will talk about his South African culture, not what specific group he comes from.

You could argue that you aren't referring to black people in your metaphor as **** and get away with it in court. But since this discussion is about race we all know that any metaphors presented here are dealing with race. So we can fill in the blanks about what you are saying. What is so wrong about integration. The whole world wouldnt be where it is if everyone didn't integrate. Whether you want to believe it or not, your forefathers "integrated" with the local khoisan and the result was coloured and many not so white but supposedly white Afrikaaners.

Integration and sharing is a natural progression towards unity. A united and integrated population is more efficient, builds a stronger workforce and society that is easier to control. The old way of running the system by being divided up is too difficult to control and manage and is just plain outdated.

Ask yourself why you think the way you do and so many other people think differently. Yes its good to have differing opinion because it makes it interesting, but at the end of the day some sides just don't have a real point to make.

not going to happen, the Afrikaner pride is something we are extremely proud of, I think the first book we read were on the great trek in school, there is no way you are going to convince most of them to drop their conservative values or their children for that matter.

I am not only refering to darker races here. At worste, they mix with the English ( even after 100 years the Afrikaner cannot move onwards)

Mixture doesn't work, even in the US the south and the north is still greatly divided. The Indians and the Americans don't work to well. In Canada the frence in Quebec wanted to become independent not so long go. Its just prove that mixture and intergration doesnt work, simply because of a difference in thinking and culture.
