What competition? They're pretty much all charging the same prices for the same services. Collusion?Vodacom and Cell C claimed their prices were not too high either and that competition in the sector is sufficient to ensure that consumers are getting good value at a fair price.
Then why are we as consumers paying so much and getting so little in return?Telkom said its prices were not exceptionally high compared to other comparable countries and that it wasn't making "super" profits.
Then reduce the prices to the levels in comparable countries - though I would like to know what countries they consider as being comparable.Telkom admitted that its ADSL prices are higher than those charged in other comparable countries.
