Watching the borrrrrrrrrrrring game now and all thats audible is vuvuzelas.. :( we need some culture before 2010

Have u seen that awful rotating 3d logo for 'Royal Ba***eng', it is so windows 95.
 
PS: Urgent transformation is needed in SA soccer to save it from further embarrassment. Good thing we dont need to qualify for 2010.

The sad thing is, "decent" players i.e. those who play internationally like Benni McCarthy (30), Aaron Mokoena (27), Delron Buckley (30) etc will be past their peak come 2010.

Ive noticed many ppl dont have any respect for USA soccer.Besides there ranking which is quite high (18th in world) , they have many players playing in europe , especially Germany and England.SA was never going to win this game.Remmember the last time RSA played USA ? They got hammered 4-0 in 2001.The problem is that our players are just not good enough.Our players just dont have the phyiscal attributes like african countries required to compete at the highest level.
 
Yeah and it's sad that we're so crap in soccer but machines in cricket and rugby.

Sheeesh, we've dropped a LOT on the FIFA rankings. :eek: I remember us being in the 50s and now we're in the 80s, wow.
 
Well i read a story somewhere , about why we so good at rugby...
The reason being that since most of the players are afrikaaners , they are naturally big strong mother ****ers , which is a attribute required in rugby

All I can say is why did they get that coach. He couldn't even win the world cup with Brazil, how the hell is he going to win the world cup with South Africa???

i was speaking to an ex swallows player a few weeks back and he says that most of the local players just care about women, partying and money, no real ambition, just get signed at a big local club, draw a R50000 salary or so, and party..

Well even poor 'ol lowly rated OZ beat Nigeria yesterday. Headsup to aussie soccer players when they get on that pitch. A tremendous amount of pride these guys have.
