Im not a big cricket fan but had an opportunity to attend a match in JHB a month back.

Apart from the two okes trying to bliksem each other it was a great experience, plenty food and drinks. Nice atmosphere, entertaining cricket.

Same. Not really bothered about cricket but went to a local game recently at Newlands and it was great. Loads of fun, cool atmosphere - just a lekker afternoon out in the sun.

I go regularly. Lots of fun, but not as good as proper, technically sound test cricket.

I've been to a bunch.

Cool and everything but those stadium announcers and the music - man I'm old and irritable but was like the cricket was a side show to all the shenanigans. I mean not so much the music and all that, it's that is was between pretty much every single delivery.
And those announcers don't appear to be especially knowledgeable about cricket. So while the bowler is running in they're like "This is it, I can feel a wicket" - like no game awareness. Then there's 5 seconds of quiet as the ball is bowled and a shot played; soon as the ball is back in the bowlers hands the music starts again. Anyway that's my old man get off my lawn rant.
Still a good experience - tickers are reasonably priced, getting in and out in my experience has been pretty painless, great for the kids to be out and about, family areas where there's no alcohol. Reckon other sporting codes can learn a thing or two from it.

Great outing for the family, nice that they allow you to take water and snacks with.

Saw klaassen destroy Royals in durban with my parents. Was fun and less stressful than an India Proteas match.
