Hate to say this but MI is the team to beat. And taking Kagiso Rabada away is a crime that I will add to the long list of injustices that both Cape Town and MI have done me.

Joburg doesn't look too good.

Lets make some predictions now. Durban + Joburg two weakest teams.

Finals Prediction: Royals Vs Capitals.

My feeling is that although MI look strong, their batting will cost them in certain games. Brevis has struggled a lot in CPL***. Royals have insane batting options and Mccoy is a matchwinner. Capitals have a very well-rounded team and the local players they have do well domestically against the same SA players.

I predict Capitals to win the whole thing. (currently with no injuries).

Brevis ? Long time taken. Pre-auction
Wonder why he went at preauction and not Stubbs. So happy he got the highest price. We need to shoe-horn him into the ODI side next, and then maybe Tests. He has a decent average in FC cricket.

Their lead bowler is Parnell, how are they going to win anything

Tests are over for us bud, the big 3 play the most and we get the scraps so therefore no chance for development.

A lot of familiar faces in the Sunrisers squad.

They spent 5.5 mill on Donovan

Another thing I thought about is will this influence squad selection for the WC
Will guys like Stubbs or Donovan now be pushed up for selection for the national team

Potentially a good signing, but can also backfire. Seen plenty of guys drop in performance in IPL when they get the big paycheck because of the pressure of being the money player.

E.g. Unadkat, Kishan, Morris.
