So now that my team is out I suppose its time to pick a personal favorite?
I have enjoyed the Brand of attacking cricket that both DSG and SEC have played.
PR was third best all season
JSK was lucky to get though but between JSK, PC and MICPT none really deserved the last spot if we are honest (PC fan here)

the best story would be for JSK to come out and play 2 amazing games and end up champions.
The unexpected result would be for PR to somehow end up on top.

no one would be shocked if DSG or SEC end up winning in the end.
right now I would say I want DSG to end up winning. Klaasen deserves to lift silverware after his season alone never mind the rest of the team that played really well around him.

so my prediction:
DSG win Q1
PR to win Eliminator
SEC to win Q2
DSG to take the Final.
Agreed. Should be a toss-up between SEC and DSG. Depends whose stars (bat and bowl) are firing on the day. Son is a SEC fan, wife is DSG.... so as a seasoned happily married man I say... GO DSG :D

I hope SEC wins it as I really like some of the players. Have feeling JSK is peaking at the right time.

Durban Super Giants
Matthew Breetzke, Tony de Zorzi, Quinton de Kock(w), Heinrich Klaasen, JJ Smuts, Dwaine Pretorius, Wiaan Mulder, Keshav Maharaj(c), Reece Topley, Junior Dala, Naveen-ul-Haq

Sunrisers Eastern Cape
Jordan Hermann, Dawid Malan, Tom Abell, Aiden Markram(c), Tristan Stubbs(w), Patrick Kruger, Liam Dawson, Marco Jansen, Simon Harmer, Ottniel Baartman, Daniel Worrall

Sunrisers Eastern Cape have won the toss and have opted to bat

Is tomorrow a reserve day?
Nope. How it works is if today is a wash out. Then the team that qualified higher gets the win..

In this case, it would mean that DSG would need to play the winner of the game tomorrow between PR & JSK.

If tomorrow is washed out. Then JSK are out.

19:33 Local Time, 17:33 GMT, 23:03 IST: Our wait continues as it's still raining in Cape Town. Let's hope we have a rain-curtailed game at least.. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

No the losing team of tonight still gets a chance against the winner of JSK & PR.

The loser of tonight's game plays the winner of tomorrows game on Thursday.

That's exactly what was said. SEC was on top, so they would have taken the win and DSG plays the winner of tomorrow.

This is exactly what I said. Except I was using the case in which today was a wash out with the rain and we do not get a game.
