Was kinda nice for a change. Bit of assistance, but not overly so. Batters had to learn how to work for runs again
Toss played a big role in a number of games, which is always the case in day/night games

Also very inconsistent in the early days. Same with Kallis. But at some point with both of them, something "clicked" and they became unstoppable.
I think his point is that Markram also has the talent but still hasn't reached that point. And he's already 30...

Who should we compare our batsmen to then? Someone middle of the road?
Royals have made the playoffs every season not that unusual for them to be good.
MICT has underperformed for two seasons, finally found consistency this season.

Not every batsman can just 'click'. I dont think its as simple as that.

i been to 2 games, the one with JSK was a belter and yesterdays game

Sipamla's been in and around the national team. Last effort vs India end of last year didn't go well.
Pretorius I don't see an opening currently . Rather tough to get in ahead of Ryan currently.

Giving them a go like they gave maphaka and simelane a go isnt a bad idea though, its not saying they are first choice but its exposing them to international cricket.

Sure but people have a massive moan when Rob does that and we lose games/series.
