SAA Gets another bailout

It still boggles the mind how such a loss can be made, when ticket prices and pax loads are very similar to their competitors, it like the fares aren't going into the correct bank account
 
When I worked at a competing airline under many different job titles, the equivalent SAA person doing the equivalent job, on average earned double what I did.

The only way SAA can become profitable is to freeze salaries for the next 50 years, or take salary cuts across the board.

Throw more money on something we dont need.
 
Banks and credit providers should just stop financing the SAA so they can finally just GTFO, but then again, their risk of lending to SAA is probably lower than that of most "healthy" companies because as soon as they demand payment, government provides them with it by means of a bailout.

Then you get another situation where they go and cry at parliament to try and force the banks to help them ala gupta style.
 
I am sure the ANC's voters will be glad that their government is so concerned for the well-being of SAA. That R2.3 billion is much better spent bailing out a service South Africa doesn't need than on racist and colonialist things like schools and hospitals.
 
More of my tax money being spent on incompetent fkers and corruption.

It just once again proves how utterly useless the SAA management is. Useless, incompetent, useless, dumb, useless, idiots, useless.

And yet, it is par for the course, of course, what else to expect from this government. Soon we will be just like the DRC, Mbuto Seko Seko educated Zuma after all.
 
What kills me is the ANC is gunning for ABSA for a loan they repaid years ago and calling for ABSA to pay back money it does not even owe when this SAA fiasco and endless money wastage continues. Its disgusting and so hypocritical it makes me furious.
 
Absolute anarchy if you ask me !!! How many more bailouts, watch this space ! SAA will be another state funded "Flop" many red faces will surface in the ANC.
