SAA 'not falling apart'

Tshediso is right, in order for something to fall apart it has to be working first.

In a we say what we mean and we mean what we say kinda way .. ?

So typical, but he is in a way right, it just the "norm" as a bailout will give new impetus to more corruption and theft. The ANC way!

The airline is not falling apart, it is merely making way for the new scapegoats to take the stage...
It happens periodically as if it were clockwork!

SAA is not just an airline, it includes SAA Technical, SAA Corporate, SAA Cargo, Mango and a few smaller units.

As i understand it, there are some major changes coming in the near future. Changes such as business units being sold off to private companies and liquidation of assets as it happened not too long ago.

Without a doubt the company is profitable, there is however a gloomy rumour of extensive fraud in all units of the company.

I think within the year the truth will reveal itself.

I just hope the one CEO of Technical remains as he has made major improvements in his unit. (or so i have heard)

Then he will probably be the only one to go. ;)

I dont see it happening, he has not fulfilled his time as CEO, but no doubt he will resign and move on to greener pastures having built up his rep. I just hope that the next news we hear is that the EM's and GM's have resigned. Well not all of them, just the ones that are knowingly corrupt or incapable of their duties!

......... a gloomy rumour of extensive fraud in all units of the company.

I think within the year the truth will reveal itself.

The truth is that any guilty comrades will be protected or redeployed to other lucrative posts as a reward for their crookery.

This is an African thing. As with the miners and the muti, Government officials and highly placed other individuals also make use of muti and I am sure that they think everyone will believe everything that comes out their rotten mouths.

This is an African thing.
Like the MCDs example if you will. At first when MCD brought MCD here and properly ran it there was 3 windows, working and fast... leaving it over to africa it just regressed.
