I read it in another article that they looking at leasing a A350 again, as they only need one plane for the route.Pity the article does not mention type of aircraft. I imagine it will be the A330 though.
Yes, but they are aquiring others now. They are only considering the A350 at this time. Guess is that the A350 wont be used on the Perth route because it wont be in time for the launch of the flights. I believe it's the other way around.The flight eastbound follows the sun for 14 hours, so you end up totally buggered by the time you arrive. Thankfully, the return flight is a lot better: 2 hours quicker and overnight.
