SABC and eMedia fall victim to cyberattacks

Staff members at the SABC and eMedia have fallen victim to business email compromises, which resulted in phishing emails being sent to their contact lists.

The attack had been circulating around the SABC since at least Monday, when the address of a stakeholder relationships and partnerships manager sent a phishing email to contacts outside the organisation.

eNews running out of stories to tell so they are making themselves news again? What happened to that eNews reporter who was savagely assaulted by having her covid mask pulled back and then she compared it to being raped?

Well that's what you get if you don't have proper network design and train employees on security attacks like this. SOE have some of the worst networks and I've seen how they handle a bad network. They know nothing will happen even if they get hacked they just say we've been hacked or malware spread and then just go on. I tell you I don't ever want to work in government or SOE, I will tear my hear out in frustration and always the excuse no money when top employees get millions
