SABC COO faces dismissal after being found guilty

SABC chief operating officer Chris Maroleng has been found guilty on three charges following a disciplinary enquiry initiated late last year, City Press reports.

Maroleng faced an enquiry into charges of gross negligence and breaching fiduciary duty, which the report stated could lead to his dismissal.

"faces dismissal" - Have any of these thieves ever really been dismissed from such? Also, forget dismissal - Criminal charges are in order

At the company I work at, if I was found guilty of serious charges like these, I would most probably have been dismissed immediately. Escorted out of the premises by security after given an opportunity to collect my personal belongings. And it's happened a few times to others since I started my employment there. Does not matter what your seniority level is. It is sad that this does almost never happen in any government institution.
