Tested in PE today to watch the rugby. Reception was great surprisingly but came to 15h00 no RWC on SABC 2 as advertised? Heard now it was on SABC News channel? On the TV Guide it still showed SABC 2...

They've had to do it due to a restriction imposed by DStv - SABC 2 can't show the matches on OpenView (probably due to ongoing fights between DStv & eMedia) which messed up how the feed to satellites works.

Was discussed in a number of threads, but I'm sure others will join in here too.

I watched on the SABC website on my pc, connected via hdmi to my tv. Listened to RSG, for sound, but because SABC was delayed by a few minutes, I switched to the amateurs hour commentry on the website.

That Rainbow Nation commentary made my head spin. After 5 minutes I could not take it anymore, so we switched to a free streaming channel from one of our founder countries

It's back! They seem to have finally fixed the broken DVB-T2 broadcast in Gauteng, I am watching the match on SABC Variety, Digital channel 9.
Just a pity about the amateur hour commentary, but otherwise the quality is very good, standard HD. I listen to the commentary on Radio 2000 instead, which is annoying because SABC's visuals are about 3 full seconds behind.
