SABC streaming beating E-tv

The SABC has announced that its video streaming service, SABC+, has recorded one million registrations, while independent Internet traffic analysis shows the service's usage is obliterating eMedia's eVOD.

The milestone comes less than a year after the SABC+ website, mobile, and TV apps were relaunched with support for multiple new platforms and features.

eVOD: Watch live TV sometimes. There are movies and series you can't watch. Not every E channel is available... No ENCA. No eToonz. Why wrestle with the app?

Come on eMedia, if you can't bring on the DStv channels due to some stupid contract, at least reorganize your content into some variety streaming-only channels.

I'm aware of the app. Google TV, in other countries, streams free channels. No need for an app for every provider
