When is it on? There is something on a Sunday morning at about 10h00 - crap time but not a bad programme. It usually has guests from the media and govt discussing media issues for eg: Anton Harber vs Rat****anga on the Sunday Times and the Health minister. Not sure if that is the programme they're talking about, but if so the time works against it.

Personally never heard of the show ... bit of an ironic though ... the SABC assessing the media

This must be a massive knock to the credibility of Redi Direko on 702 as she presents In The Public Interest for the SABC... Always found her to be a little slanted. She doesn't need directive from a higher authority. She is slanted all by herself.

What? You must be watching a different Redi Direko to me. She is a very confrontational interviewer, and thats good. She used to present some other (SABC) current affairs show, and she'd give politicians that were expecting an easy ride, a real grilling.

When is In the Public Interest? Is it the sunday morning show that I'm thinking of, or is it some other time?

the brainchild of Zikalala and SABC chief executive Dali Mpofu

Impossible. Even considering the mating habits of the amoeba there still needs to be a least one braincell.
:D
