SAB's Amstel replacement?

What is it again 2% abv? Its like they forgot to put the alcohol in it The regular Windoek is pretty good. Bought a 6 the other day of the oddly named Super Bock from Portugal, also a decent brew.

lol I was laughing at the abv as well, but was pleasantly surprised. Sure it won't get you drunk, but the taste is almost there. It's really not bad for a light, but basically I'm drinking Windhoek and Windhoek Light as substitutes until Amstel is readily available again

Opened a Pilsner Urquell for the first time (either ever or in a really long time) and it tastes like any other beer - just watered down. Yuck.

Try that other SAB aquisition "Staropramen". It's better than Irqell.

A thread revived from the dark ages.I was an Amstel fan but since SAB did not launch their new beer as promised in early April as per the official SAB website I have changed brands and it is not a SAB product.You snooze you lose.However I don't drink much beer.Only 80 to 90 beers a week.I am getting old.

I don't think Star is SAB-Miller?? Isn't it InBev (same as Stella Artois)?
