Sad Day

got my mout last night, now I owe my mate 500g by saturday lol

I Got 100g from a guildie to get my Epic...Don't like borrowing gold so I did a whole bunch of quests to pay him back next day :p

i just hit the 3k mark, so not too far to go.
Mind you i was sitting on 1500g last thursday, so since then i have racked up 1600-odd just doing dailies and questing, reckon i should have the epic flying by next week :D

Also the bonus with grinding is the occasional blue drop, had 3 on sunday alone. Have yet to get an epic drop, how many of you have had epic BOE drop and what were they?

I was farming Tyr's Hand this weekend for Crusader and greens to DE. I ended up making a ton of cash selling the Runecloth that dropped. It was selling almost as quickly as I was putting it on the aH.

First epic BOE non instance drop I had was the Brightwood staff. Sold it the same day for 800g, damn I was extatic about that drop! That was back in the days where we were still grinding timbermaw rep to go through the tunnel in winterspring. Had quite a few more since then but none as memorable.

My Cash cow at the moment is primal mana or primal water, I get about 8 primals per hour that is selling for 20-25g a piece.

please elaborate? :D

how you doing this? and you lose if you say "i'm an engineer"

Primal water - Get some elixers of water breathing or if u still have the berries from the nagrand quest use them :D Go to Sketies, jump in the water and start killing water elementals, depending on how fast you kill them or how crowded it is you will get a ton of water motes in little time.

Primal mana - more crowded area, but the old town near area 51 have some wraiths and mana elementals. Just start killing them :D they also have a good drop rate for motes.

Primal fire is way way over farmed so don't bother with it unless you get them through mining. Primal shadow, think Nagrand is still the best, but the price for these are quite low. Primal life, get them through herbing, other wise they are not worth the time to farm. Primal wind is the hardest to get imho, and I have not bothered to farm them really, but u can get plenty in shadowmoon valey near the altar.

What I do for Primal Fire is every day when I do the Ogri dailies I farm the Fire guys until I get at least 1 Primal Fire. It doesn't sound like much but if you do it everyday and you have no real need for the Primals they build up.
I gave away 30 to a mate who was crafting his Spellfire set. I still have 7.

i find that runecloth sells better than netherweave in most cases, i think it has something to do with where it drops, epl and wpl - i didnt spend a lot of time in those areas cos i was too excited to get to outland :P

Sithilis is a deserted gold mine especially the north-west corner :D

You can say that again :D
Even more so if your a miner! ever since they took out all the elite bugs in the hives thorium have become so easy to get! And the price for thorium is still quite high :D

Instance daily?
Bomming runs?
PVP daily?
Sure, you can make some gold this way. Maybe like 50g a day or so if you're not doing the netherwing quests yet (lol, need 5k gold first so i can farm moar gold lol).
But it's quite limited, compared to how efficiently a dps toon can farm gold.
I won't even consider farming primals for crafted stuff. It's far less painful mucking around in BG's for welfare epixx.

For the record what healer class are you playing?
My holy paladin have plenty of kill power to farm for stuff.

Khayne's a Resto Shammy.

I spec'd Resto for a weekend pre-2.3 and I decided to go stick nails in my eye instead. I think the +heal/+spell change has made it a lot better but not being able to DPS properly just killed me.
Back to Enhance very quick.
