His analysis of reality (reality cracking), insight into newsgroups (trolling and such) and methodologies for searching on the web have been a guide for me since the earliest days of the internet. I first discovered Fravia's SearchLores site
back in 1996 at university. His works have always been insipiring and filled with wisdom. The man is an icon on the internet. Sadly, Fravia no longer updates his site. A reason for this has been posted on his site a short while ago. I've only come across this page in the last couple of days.

It's tragic. I wish Fravia a speedy recovery. Having lost someone recently to cancer, I know it's not an easy thing to defeat but continue with your fight Fravia. My prayers are with you.
