So I discovered The Hub 2day, the local DC++ hub. I read on their website that you need saDC++ 0.674 and there is a link and everything on their website. The problem is, every time I open the saDC++.exe it says "Software has Expired: This beta version of saDC++ had reached the end of its life. If you wish to continue using saDC++, please download a new one. On their website the also say you have 2 replace it with your old saDC++. Any1 maybe have a link 2 a old 1? or know what is wrong here? Note: This is the first time I use saDC++ and on The Hub. If you enter the hub with StrongDC++ or any other DC++ they kick you...

i have used it once, set your date back to 2006, then enter, it works but isn't very convenient

this trick actually works with a lot of software where there are trial limitations. i assume the apps make a note of the install date and then they count say 30 days later and then they know when to issue the expiration warning. when the date arrives it prevents access to the app based on ur system date. so turning the date back may help in many apps.

Im not sure, it seemed dead when i tried it, a good concept, but poorly implemented

Ye but I was searching around 2day, I found another1 too were there actually ARE ppl :P and yeah The Hub seems dead, theres nothing going on there...

There's also openweb.kicks-ass.net:1433 for local DC++ :)

I don't think they're picky about what client you use....

Suppose we could always go back to this if things dont improve

i tried connecting to the openweb.kicks ass server and it keeps on redirecting and disconnecting me. any thoughts?

"<VerliHub> *** You have to be operator at least on one hub! You will be redirected to a random hub
*** Redirect request received to a hub that's already connected
*** Disconnected"
