Hi we have a pc which maps to the Z; drive on the server, this is the VIP folder on the server. If I go to the Server and run the VIP it works. Now on the desktop I have the shortcut pointing to the Z drive (Z:\wrun32.exe -s -c cblconfi vipsal.acu) it starts to open then the error scsinstall.exe this application could not be started? Anybody have any ideas?

It won't work if you didn't install VIP localy. You can leave the data on the server.
Their preferred network setup is installing VIP on MS server along side terminal services.

This should fix the problem:

1. The Payroll user have to be logged in to the workstation (Windows) where the mapped drive is created.
2. In the Mapped drive (This case Z:\), you will find a windows installer named
scsinstall.exe.
3. Run the above file, to install on the local workstation.
4. After the installer completed, restart the workstation.
5. After the restart, make sure that on the taskbar, at the bottom right corner, the Sage Connected Services is running.
6. Now you will be able to open and run Payroll form the mapped drive on the workstation successfully.
