That would mean that you still have access to the SAIX news server, is it not?

Can someone confirm this? i was considering SAINET but I want to be able to still access News Servers.

No you will not be able to access SAIX news server.

Sainet resells Neology bandwidth. So its not on the SAIX network nor do you get a SAIX IP.

Neology is its own network and is therefor not part of IS,SAIX,Telkom,Cybersmart ect ect

been with SAINET for er, about 2 weeks now, been good... speeds have rocked for the entire two weeks and they are quite a good bunch of people based in East London.

I did contact them awhile ago about news server access and though they don't have at the moment they are planning to in the future - they are talking to Telkom about it.
Don't have time now to find the email, but I will quote it later on.

no credit cards?

Unfortunately, no.

I e-mailed them and got a reply regarding the matter the very next day - it seems they experienced a high amount of fraud and have thus removed the credit card functionality. One can however request the service and tell them you wish to use your credit card. They will then send you their account details and you can then use your credit card to perform an EFT (which sort of defeats the purpose for me).

Hopefully, they will allow for credit card again soon...

The email I received from them

Hi

Currently we don’t have any news servers on our new network. However this is currently in discussion with Telkom to be added.
You will be notified when these services arrive.

Kind Regards

well I went with Screamer and it really wasn't worth it. Too slow to actually make financial sense. If these guys are any good I'd love to know
