It does not work on ADSL. It accepts your login, but when you open explorer it reports that it can't be used on your IP address and refers you to SAIX.NET, which of course completely fails to advise you of that fact.

Basically it is the same as the one Mweb lunched a couple of years ago, which also excludes the ADSL address range. Lets face it Telkom has no intention to save on ADSL bandwidth.

LOL, but I bet I can morph this into the Telkomonopoly mindset reality- picture this advert []:

Sizwe in his skid-marked-underpants, running about his fancy home, into the garage, looking in the boot of his merce-tediousness for the tyre-iron...runs back to his PC & brings down the tyre-iron with full force - to bear on the poor PC, whilst simultaneously yelling DECELERATOR!!! It works, but I didn't see any "acceleration". I think it just reduces the quality of images on websites. YAY! Uninstalled.

The processing time taken to reduce the image quality negates the increase in speed. Thus it does not work on ADSL.

I dl it (desperate for my 56k) and what it basically does is:
Cant see any image 100%= ****
The page loads almost as fast with dsl, but cant see images so what does that help, but you can select how much quality it cuts away, still I uninstalled it

Installl the software Arteraturbo. You will not be dissappointed. It works well with dsl. I've used it for a year now.

I dont know but it managed to eventualy break my Win 2003 machine... after never using it, and trying to remove it.
