With a news reader like grabit.
ok, downloaded and installed grabit. did a group list search and thousands of groups appeared.
I have chosen a group and have subscribed to it.
Now what?
OK, I am busy doing a full update on the group. It says about 1.5 hours. I will have to see when it is finished as to the next steps.
I did a full update on a smaller group. It said that the update was completed, but I don't see anything in the articles window.
Any idea why or what have I done wrong?

I tried grabit, but seems I am a bit daft, it asks if the server requires username and pass or summin to that extent, do you say yes ? and what username and pass do you then use ? the one you get from newshost ?
cause, when i tick yes, and use user and pass that newshost gives, it says password sending or summin, and then says it cant go through or summin ...
help maybe?

Check out newshost.za.net - they have some great resources right on the front page that are very informative.
You dont need a username and password.

Yea. Goto http://www.newshost.za.net. Click on the second link. Which will take you here. Then read through that. It has everything you (dont) need to know.
Grabitt is pretty cool. Then once you up and running. Head back to Newshost, and select a Mythbusters episode. It will download a NZB file (in a Zip file). Extract that to your C: . Then open Grabbit, import NZB File, select the one that you just extracted. And it will do the rest for you .
