SAIX Backbone : International HTTP Proxy Overloaded ?

Hi guys.


How many of you are experiencing VERY slow access through the SAIX transparent server ? International is completely down except for the pages stored in the servers cache. International systems using shaped ports are working (I can download 100% from a shaped http port.) This is a critical SAIX failure and something must be done about it as we the customer are paying for it.

Works extremly well for me - I have just logged on to my webmail server located in Tanzania.

Speeds are very good, ISP is telkom, using an unshaped account.

I am convinced these problems are to limit "month-end rush".
NOTE: I say "to limit" not "because of".
