I got the same, but not just on saix. Looks like mweb mail severs too.

well i've set my server now to deliver the stuff directly. works on most hosts, a bit slower but at least it works

Also here in Randburg trying to send emails with smtp.mweb.co.za. it is very slow and sometimes times out

link to cape town is also extremly slow, according to saix the line between rosebank and bellville is down. but that dont explain why smtp.saix.net is not working. maby they reached their cap again

any body with info please?

Telkom has international connectivity problems from JHB and CPT to Miami

Telkom is still busy resolving

I have not been able to send e-mails via Telkom's outgoing mail server all day!

It started failing intermittently last night.

They say "Our engineers are wekking on the problem"!! Yeah, right ...

If i am not mistaken , smtp.saix.net resides in Bellville Cape Town , i would think that it is all tied up in the connectivity problem experienced today ..

ah i thought so cause the ping to saix takes about the same time as to my CT branch. so we shall wait...
