saix.net newsgroups dead

I haven't been able to get through to any newsgroups on saix.net. Subscribing to a group is fine, but you then have to download all the old stuff and finally discover that there is nothing new. Anybody else having a problem?

Given that SAIX seems to mirror giganews I would presume so.

Ok I've checked out that the international service is working. Newsgroups from overseas are connecting, but is it possible that saix.net have stopped loading new stuff from some newsgroups onto their server? is there anyone I can contact to check this?
