Anyone else experiencing really slow download speeds? I am crawling at 18 kb/s on a 4 meg line

Well SAIX mirrors Giga so theres no caches issues there, unless you're talking about files that are over 100 days old.

The IS server is up and runing full speed and has been all day.

What I mean is that I only use it for nzbs that I'm gonna be dloading from the IS server.

SAIX nzbs I grab from newzleech.

Newzhost (the site) caters for people who download from IS (ie when reporting whether something is cached or not). The actual nzbs can be used with "any" news server. This is provided the files the nzb references are on that news server. The speed of the files will depend on how that news server is setup. IS caches files which (and I assume here) have been downloaded frequently in a recent time period (I'm yet to work out how long this is). SAIX is full speed all the time so to say. International news servers full speed again (and here I am talking about the likes of giganews).

doubtful as it is internationally hosted but a nzb is a nzb regardless of where it comes from.
