SAIX Outage?

Hi There,

Is there anybody else on SAIX backbone having internet outage this morning?
Had about 7 clients phone this morning all on SAIX backbone from different area's in Durban.

line sync is fine, can see Radius logs, but no Internet...

On TI and no issues here (PE).

I think TI is fine, it is SAIX wholesale DSL that is a problem.

There is a confirmed SAIX authentication issue.
Not sure if it is only Durban, or only our Realm, waiting for SAIX to investigate further.

Sounds like the same issue we had last week. pppoe session is up, authentication fine but no ip allocated.

Still down,
If you are on SAIX wholesale and have a current session you will be fine.
But if your session ends it will not authentication again.

You can never trust SAIX,
They have obviously not done something correct as there notice says no Client impact,
However that is not the case.

If you are on SAIX wholesale and have a current session you will be fine.

Try getting a port reset on the dslam to see if it helps.

It's not the clients line,
Apparently it's SAIX to our Radius server that's the issue, So they still investigating.
