SAIX slow ?

Anyone else experiencing slow ADSL speed on the SAIX network?

My 512DSL is crawling along at between 4Kbps and 20Kbps all morning here in Pta East.

trying to get a SuSE iso this morning and i was getting 4-10kBps on a 384 line through torrents, ftp and http

SAIX is definitely stuggling here on the East Rand

in lonehill, on telkominternet...does this happen often?

Almost every week. Maybe reset ur router to get a new ip addy and it might be better.

i did reset and nothing, right now im getting 178kbps on the gamco test (telkom isnt even working).

i actually called and logged a fault, when i look at my router stats it says 640 down and 384 up but the speeds im getting r pathetic.

what worries me is it worked well at first, what could have happened now?

21:00 on Wednesday evening 20 Sep and I am flying along at 21kbps (yea bits)! Most pages times out.

seems to be all over the place - earlier I got 582kbps.

Baffles the mind...

Hmm, this is a little worrying. I am on IS and getting 160kbps on the Telkom test for a 384k line. GamCo is giving me 241 interestingly. I normally get close to my limit. What on earth is going on!?

Everything just feels SO SLOW.

BTW, I am also in Pretoria East.
