has anyone had any problems with the saix unshaped from webafrica over the last two days?
It lets me connect, but then when i start up and connect to wow its slooooooow, sorta takes ages to authenticate and then login.
If i switch to verizon its fine.

what gives?

Since the patch ive been getting loads of random DC's , im on Axxess unshaped and my latency is around 500ms but out of the blue wow kicks me out to the login screen. also some nights my telskom shaped account gives me better ms than my axxess unshaped!>?

Ironically, we just went onto Imaginet uncapped (IS) and its been, shall I say, bumpy compared to WebAfrica.

Giving them the benefit of the doubt, since it seems some on this forum are also having problems with WoW atm. We unplugged the Imaginet router and went on the WebAfrica unshaped (Verizon) and had good pings (400-500) for the better part of the weekend.

Anyone else on Imagine uncapped?

hmmm

well i tried saix this weekend and it was the same story - slow connecting, even if i ing international sites there seems to be around 50% packet loss(which could explain the disconnecting above).

BUT verizon works pergfectly (300-500ms) so i have no idea what the problems with saix unshaped are.....eish.

2 things,

1) Remove Titanpanel if you are using it, causes dc's since 2.3
2) If you are using dual/quad core run windows media player before launching wow (leave it running in the background). Don't ask... but it really does work!

Im on Axxess unshaped, had no probs

then again, ive had WMP open whenever ive played wow, grinding 5hrs straight gets boring without music

Interesting idea. Although I haven't tried this, I can safely say the Verizon didn't have any issues while IS had major issues regarding packet loss and disconnects. Would SAIX have an issue with Titanpanel?
