Introduction:
IT company with position available for a Sales Account Manager in Cape Town. All races and genders welcome to apply.

We are a Linux technology development company who provides both wholesale ISP solutions and software development services to corporates, government organizations and resellers. This job is best suited to individuals truly over the edge passionate about technology, open source software and Linux.

Requirements:
* Background in IT, familiarity with ADSL products, reseller/shared/vps/dedicated server hosting and online backups
* Own reliable transport, you'll be required to visit clients
* Willing to travel if required
* Technical minded & willingness to use Google, read up terms/products/technologies and absorb knowledge from other staff
* Not afraid to go the extra mile & willing to work overtime, Saturdays and Sundays if required
* Friendly and well presented
* Good telephone etiquette & communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure from management and clients
* Ability to take constructive criticism
* Lots of confidence with ambitious & vibrant attitude
* Pro-active and constructive team player
* Proper English usage and clear spoken, some of our large clients are international

Role Description:
* Answering calls & live chat
* Attending to tickets on our ticketing system
* Assessing client responses to live chat and tickets to ensure they're happy, identifying repeat issues and escalating them
* Meet and call clients to resolve problems, keep them up to date with new services or service updates and generate new leads
* Work through leads and identify possible business opportunities and liaising with clients to understand their requirements
* Commitment to self development and research of competing products and technologies
* Constantly keep up to date with new technology and trends in our industry
* Report on all critical and important aspects concerning your work
* Adherence to company policies and procedures
* Professional presentation of the company
* Work closely with peers and become part of a growing team
* Sense of humor a must
