Salmon - PE or in general

Hey all,

Just a quick question. Where can you get fresh salmon specifically in PE? I guess if there are chain stores that sell it at decent prices you can list those? Otherwise if anyone knows where I can get in PE that would be great!

Thanks MickeyD, have you tried all of those places? Main reason I ask I want it for sashimi.

Not a good idea. Sushi fish has to be flash frozen else its not safe (parasites). So unless its specifically marked as sushi grade (and they know what that means) I would stay for away. Home fridge will not do either...I think it needs to be -120C or something along those lines.

Also...contrary to popular belief sushi is not best if 100% fresh...the top places keep it frozen for a couple of days (improves texture apparently).

Yea definitely will speak to the guys at the shops, I guess I should have said sushi grade in my original post. Will have a look over the weekend.
